NEPAL: Home to the Mt. Everest (8848m)
Nepal, home to Mount Everest, is dominated by the world's most imposing mountains. This country situated between India and China. Although the country is relatively small (147,181 square kilometers), 80 percent of its territory is occupied by the dramatic peaks of the Himalayas.In terms of tourism in Nepal, tourism accounts for 25 percent of gross foreign exchange.
POKHARA CITY:Pokhara is the next destination after Kathmandu for many adventure and pleasure trips in and around Pokhara. Pokhara is often called the enchanting Himalayan valley with a heart of major actions and adventures. FEWA lake situated in heart of the POKHARA city, which has an area of about 520.4 hectares, and it is 4 km long and 1.3 km. Tourist enjoy by bosting, fishing etc. This city is surrounded by beautiful snow-caped mountains, with a magnificent lake of crystal-clear pure Himalayan water, all-year round pleasing weather. Pokhara is the forth largest town in Nepal in terms of population; but its political, tourism and makes it, in effect, Nepal`s second city. It is certainly the best known - after Kathmandu – to expatriates (whether tourists, scholars, development workers, or others).
